This mural was painted in 2005 as part of Off the Wall, a group set up in 2002 in Invergordon and funded by Forward Scotland.

It shows two of the lifeboats that have served the Invergordon lifeboat station.  The smaller is ‘The White Rose of Yorkshire’ which served from 1989 until 1996 when it was replaced by the current lifeboat the ‘Douglas Aikman Smith’ which is the larger boat in the mural.
