The mural named “Birds on a Wire” was painted at the Fridge Art Gallery located in Washington DC. This mural is part of Albus Cavus Classrooms program.

“Birds on a Wire” mural is based on the tattoo of Nicole Puzan. Nicole was an accomplished artist with a BFA in crafts/material studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. Most recently she worked as the studio manager/artist-in-residence at the Washington Glass School and was the part time assistant to Novie Trump at Flux Studios. In January she was diagnose with Stage III-C Ovarian Cancer. The Washington Glass School’s much loved glass studio coordinator passed away on December 11th. Only 28 years old, Nicole succumbed to a very aggressive ovarian cancer.

Lead artists Nicole and Decoy with the help of several assistant students were able to paint the mural in a short amount of time. This mural is only temporary.
