Painted in 2010, the Great Southern Wall as it is situated on the South side of the King George V Recreation Centre and depicts the history of the Rocks from the year dot to the early 1800’s, when Australia was known as the great southern land.
It is the second stage of the KGV Recreation Centre Mural, the first stage (now located in the Centre) was painted in 1983. The Great Southern Wall is painted in Keim mineral silicate paint.
